Ok so I spent the day fiddling around with my IR filter. It's relatively new and I'm still trying to get to grips with it. I swear there must be more effective settings, on the white balance maybe? But I think I've kinda worked out the best from a load of trial and error (that took a LOOOONG time).

No-one tells you IR shots come out red initally and you have to post process them.

This is someone who doesn't own photoshop remember!

I really want to be able to do those ones where the greenery stays white and the sky and/or water stay blue! When I try it then to make the trees and grass white (rather than pink) I have to make it b+w or greyscale and then of course the sky just goes grey/black. Grr. OR if I go the other way and I want to make the sky blue then it makes everything else blue as well. The only way I can see round it is if you use the magic whatever tool (remember I don't own photoshop) and make the sky or water a new layer and you're not telling me people actually do that in every one single of those shots I've seen, it's so painstaking!

No, there's something they do when they actually take the photo, and I mean to FIND IT!
